The curriculum in German Realschule expects us teachers to teach the students about word types.
I really like this topic, because as a teacher, you have lots of options for organizing the whole thing. Be it as station work, group work or much more.
As part of my German lessons, I have made blackboard cards for each part of speech, which I like to use as repetition, but sometimes also as an introduction to the parts of speech. There is a board card with the name of each part of speech and a corresponding memory card with the most important identifying features.
